Nurses warn Medicare disadvantaging rural patients

The Senate inquiry into rural, regional and remote Medicare access has been warned that the current system is failing people outside major cities, with advocates urging the federal government to overhaul funding, telehealth rules and workforce supports before inequities worsen.
