Qld nurses and midwives secure largest wage increase in 13 years

It took more than 150 hours of bargaining and 13 intensive conciliation sessions to reach the proposed deal

Queensland’s 57,000 nurses and midwives are set to receive their biggest pay increase in more than a decade following news that Queensland Health, the Queensland Nurses and Midwives’ Union (QMNU) and the Australian Workers’ Union (AWU) have reached a pay and conditions agreement after months of industrial action.
