Home care provider charged customer for visits that didn’t occur, royal commission hears

“I want to begin this hearing with a basic proposition. People living in rural, regional and remote communities of Australia ought to have the same levels of access to aged care as people living in metropolitan areas, and the aged care they receive must be safe and of high quality,” said counsel assisting Peter Gray in his opening remarks to the royal commission in Mudgee.
