SA recruits extra health workers, winter demand planning ramps up

The state has added more than 2,000 nurses to its health workforce since 2022

South Australia has recruited more than 4,000 additional frontline health workers in the past four years. New data shows significant growth across nursing, medical, allied health and ambulance staffing as the state continues efforts to strengthen its public health system.
