NSW launches taskforce to combat rising violence in hospitals
Nearly nine in 10 NSW nurses, midwives and carers reported experiencing or witnessing workplace violence over six months in 2025
A new taskforce has been established with the sole aim of “eradicating violence” in NSW hospitals and ensuring staff are safe in the wake of an increase in violent incidents at medical facilities across the state.
