  1. Should be available to aged care nurses as well. Most residents and their families have never had these discussions prior to admission

    1. Totally agree, ACPs are a big part of aged care with most not wanting to go there until it is too late to effectively draw up an ACP that is effective for both resident and family. It can become a bigger issue when family members have differing opinions amongst themselves and these opinions often differ from those of the resident

  2. I am an RN (44yrs) Nurse educator and been working in oncology with Lung Cancer and Mesothelioma Patients. I recently lost my partner of 21yre to metastatic breast cancer. I would like to contribute to the program if I could… I would not be available till next year (2017) as I have some grieving to do for a while.
I have some wonderful clinical experience as a nurse and now my personal, which makes it all so much more real.

Would value comments if I could help with the education
