SA parliament rejects push to tighten late-term abortion laws

The bill was introduced by Family First and was supported by a mix of Liberals, Labour and One Nation MPs before it was voted down

A controversial bill that would effectively ban late-term abortion in South Australia made it through the upper house by the narrowest of margins, only to ultimately be defeated.
